Tiancheng Chemical has long been concentrating on the field of green and multi-functional chemical products, and is integrating the upstream and downstream industrial chains. Its products cover papermaking chemicals, rubber and plastic additives, pharmaceutical intermediates, new functional materials, and special chemicals. Tiancheng has customers from all over the world, and its products have been sold countries and regions such as Europe, America, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea. Tiancheng has successively reached cooperation with international companies such as Finland Kemira, Solenis, Ingredion and Buckman from the United States, Solvay from Belgium, as well as OJI, Chuo Kaseihin, Starlite Group, Showa Denko and Arakawa from Japan.
Tiancheng adopts the new international technology and the advanced equipment, as well as DCS fully automated control and SIS emergency shutdown systems for production. Moreover, Tiancheng is equipped with an experienced production and management team for fine chemical synthesis. Tiancheng Chemical attaches great importance to scientific and technological progress and development, as well as the introduction and cultivation of technical personnel. Tiancheng has established a long-term industry-university-research cooperation with institutions such as Chinese Academy of Sciences, and has invested in the establishment of “Jining Enterprise R&D Center and Key Laboratory of High-end Functional Chemicals”. Tiancheng now has nearly 20 R&D personnel, including 3 doctors, 5 masters, and 9 undergraduates, and has long employed many visiting professors and experts. The R&D Center covers an office area of 1200 square meters, and is equipped with complete equipment for inspection and testing, and improved basic conditions. It has capabilities and platforms for small pilot, medium pilot, and small-scale industrialized tests, thus providing guarantee for product innovation, technological breakthroughs, process optimization, and quality improvement.
Tiancheng now has 15 independent R&D patents (including 4 inventions, 5 utility model patents and 6 software copyright), and a number of core technologies in phosgenation products and high-end resin products. Specifically, 4 technologies have passed the municipal-level appraisal of scientific and technological achievements and reached the leading level of similar domestic products. Tiancheng is one of the main drafter and designer of AKD national standards. In 2019, the 4 newly-applied invention patents have entered the substantive examination stage; PCT international applications for 2 invention patents have been entered the stage of national review phase; In 2020, 3 new utility model patents have been acknowledged receipt of application and accepted.
Tiancheng has received extensive attention and support from provincial and municipal leaders at all levels over the past 20 years. So far, Tiancheng has formulated new development goals, actively responded to the National Belt and Road Initiative, and proposed the development strategy of "two transforming" - transforming from paper chemical manufacturers to high-end chemical manufacturers, and transforming from a domestic product manufacturer to a global supplier- in order to actively respond to building of the Belt and Road.
